Coach Nash Dory
Nash got his first mountain bike as a teenager and started racing shortly after going on to become a 3 time Arizona NICA state champion while attending Buena High School in Sierra Vista AZ. After high school, he attended Fort Lewis College in Colorado on a cycling scholarship and earned his 4 year degree in Exercise Physiology.
At Fort Lewis he raced MTB, cyclocross and road on the varsity cycling team making the nationals team 3 out of the 4 years, winning a national championship as part of the MTB relay team along with landing 4 top 5s individually at nationals. When not racing collegiately, he primarily raced MTBs at the professional level for Construction Zone Racing out of Phoenix, AZ and served as an assistant cycling coach with his alma mater Buena High School. |
His time at Fort Lewis also gave him the opportunity to work in a lab environment performing bike fits and performing metabolic testing on some of the top athletes in Durango. While working in the lab his senior year, Nash did a study on how the body reacts to different workloads, climates, and varying types of terrain while mountain biking to learn how to dig more into the missed aspects of training.
Nash continues racing and training for Construction Zone Racing both on and off road and works for M&M Cycling in Sierra Vista AZ while continuing to build his coaching experience and clientele and is excited to work with all levels and disciplines of cyclists.
