Wow, busy month for Otterhaus athletes, might need to break these up more in the future!:

Rob Coffey took 1st and 2nd respectively in 2 stops of the Thunder Bay Cycling Club Time Trial Series in Ontario.  He is also making great progress in his training as he targets is first Ironman Mt Tremblant in Quebec!

Jay ShalekBriski was part of the winning team that set a new course record at the Round the Clock 24 hr MTB Race in Spokane, WA and was a fantastic teammate working with Stefan Zavislan at the Baker City Classic in WA.  He also won the overall and took 1st or 2nd on 4 stages, at the Tour of Fairbanks in AK!

Jay Lowell has strong performances at the Air Force Cycling Classic Challenge Ride and the Cranky Monkey 2 man 6 hr MTB race the following weekend.  He is super motivated and working towards a fall century!

Rhandie Thompson cranked out some races and is starting to see results as he learns the ropes in the Cat 2 ranks.  He took 2nd at the First Coast Crit in FL, 4th and 5th at two stops of the Nestor Cup series races in GA, 5th in the NC RR Champs and 8th at the Velobrew Race Series Crit if FL.

Rafael Amorganda took 8th on day 1 and 3rd on day 2 at the Bugallon Cycling Classic.  He also took 2nd on Day 1 and 8th on Day 2 to finish 3rd overall at the Cebu Road Classic Omnium in the Philippines!

Stefan Zavislan took 2nd Death Valley Stage Race (Stage 1 and 2) 2nd Stage 3 and GC and 5th in the Lancaster Road Race in California.  He also took 6th on GC at the Baker City Classic in Washington!

Alex Driscoll has been dabbling in a variety of things as he prepares for deployment with the Army.  He took 3rd in the 2 man division at the Hilly Billy Roubaix, a grueling 70+ mile gravel/MTB race in Morgantown, WV followed up by placing highly in several events at his first track events in Colorado Springs.

Dave Flaten hit the road heavily in the last month.  He took 11th in the pro field at MTB Marathon Nationals in GA after a gritty battle back from an untimely mechanical dropping him to last in the field.  The next day he took  2nd at the Massanutten Hoo Ha MTB Race in VA.  2 weeks later he had his highest placing in a US Cup MTB race taking 24th and earning some precious UCI points in Missoula MT followed by a 3rd at the Red Flint Firecracker MTB race in WI the following weekend..

Jose Solis is also working hard to make the transition from Cat 3 to Cat 2 on the road, taking strong 4ths on Day 1 and Day 2 of the North Carolina NC Road Race Champs.  He also ventured to WV For a few days of training.
