Spring seems to finally, well, be springing in the mid-atlantic and north east and athletes in these colder areas are looking forward to getting outside without spending a half hour getting dressed. It’s about time we get to enjoy some nicer weather and remember why we do these crazy endurance sports. Whether thoughts turn to racing or just longer rides and runs in the sunshine, get out and enjoy! Drop the hammer a bit, knock the rust off, blow out the cobwebs and remember it’s not all about interval pacing, power numbers and HR zones. It’s ok to have fun, take a hill, sprint to a sign, or explore something you haven’t explored before.
April also marks 6 months that Otterhaus Performance Coaching has been around. I have been happy with the progress so far, but like with any endeavor, looking for continued progress. In honor of spring, I’ve done a little tidying up, the logo has been updated slightly, and the winter themed stuff on Facebook is gone plus the website has been spruced up a bit. In addition, I have added some new services to the repertoire, namely consulting and cycling skills clinics for individuals or groups.
I am still open for taking on clients whether cyclists, runners, triathletes or duathletes. If you or someone you know is looking for some coaching this season, please don’t be shy, reach out and or send them my way. I am open for discussions on setting up something that will work for you/them. Also anything to gain exposure is helpful as well, “likes” and “shares” on Facebook in addition to follows on Twitter @OtterhausCoach are all helpful.
Thanks again for reading if you made it this far, if nothing else, hope the silly otter holding a hammer made you chuckle a bit.
